Activities

We have regular monthly activities that include games afternoons, quizzes and trips out. Residents also organise their own games and music evenings.

Whenever there is a reason to celebrate we do it in style, and our local Mayor is always happy to come and help us celebrate (especially as the "food is always so good!")

We also have special lunches from time to time such as St Georges Day, Burns 'lunches', and not forgetting of course, Christmas lunches, when the dining room is dressed up by the staff and volunteers to create a wonderful atmosphere.

What's on the menu

We are very proud of the food we offer residents - we feel it sets us apart and offers our residents something a little bit different.

All food is freshly cooked on the premises, using locally sourced quality food, by caring, dedicated and helpful staff. There is a 4 week turnaround of menus, which adds variety and all meals are both nutritious and delicious!

Whilst breakfast is not provided, we offer daily milk and bread so that it is always fresh for residents and waste and expense is reduced for residents. Residents then have the choice of what to have for breakfast and when they want to eat it.
